There has been news of a new Assassin’s Creed game. Available in 2023, this game seeks to return to the series’ beginnings. The video game, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, will be a story-driven adventure that lets players become the greatest assassin as they move through a metropolis modelled after Baghdad in the ninth century.

You can participate in Basim Is’haq’s coming-of-age narrative in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The game, which takes set 20 years before the events of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, will have Basim giving up his life to join the Hidden Ones and develop his special skills while coming to grips with a new Creed that will alter his destiny in ways he could never have predicted.

Since it will be a shorter, more narrative-focused experience than other games in the franchise, the game is designed as a tribute to the original Assassin’s Creed titles. The release of Mirage will herald the return to a sizable metropolitan setting where players may prove their parkour prowess by scaling huge structures, jumping across rooftops, and evading security. When gathering clues is unsuccessful, Basim can use his eagle Enkidu to survey the area and mark adversaries for stealthy elimination.

The release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, Stadia, and even Amazon Luna is scheduled for 2023.

Users with a Ubisoft+ subscription will be able to play the game on PC. There will also be a premium edition of the game that comes with the base game, a digital artbook, a digital soundtrack, and a deluxe digital pack that has an outfit inspired by Prince of Persia as well as skins for an eagle and a horse, weapons, and other items.

The game will also come in a Collector’s Case Edition, which adds a 32cm figure of Basim, a special Steelbook with a design selected by fans, a mini-artbook, a replica of Basim’s brooch, a map of Baghdad, and the game’s Selected Soundtrack to everything else available in the Deluxe Edition. The Collector’s Case costs $150 and is offered both in-store and online by Ubisoft.
