Assassins Creed Jade Gameplay leaks Online

The gameplay for the upcoming mobile game Assassins Creed Codename Jade has been leaked, revealing what appears to be an early segment of the title. It was one of several projects launched under the Assassins Creed banner earlier this year, yet it garnered criticism when it was discovered to be a mobile game.

Ubisoft Forward in September was the ideal chance for the publisher to flesh out its projects that players may expect in the next years. Assassins Creed, which hasn’t had a mainline entry since Assassins Creed Valhalla was released in November 2020, is one of the most anticipated titles from the French business. Fans of the series were ecstatic to learn that not one, but numerous titles were in the works, including Assassins Creed Mirage, a 2023 release that would purportedly take the franchise back before the transformation to an open-world role-playing game.

Assassins Creed Jade was touted as having “traditional” Assassins Creed gameplay while operating in an open world.

The unveiling trailer started strong, but many people’s hopes were swiftly shattered when the phrase “Coming Soon To Mobile” appeared, and a new demo leak of the mobile game had fans naturally hoping for an eventual conversion to PC. The original Facebook upload has since been removed, but user dattuu submitted the video to Reddit before it was removed, providing nearly three minutes of gameplay.

It starts with the player character rushing across the Great Wall of China in the middle of a battle, arrows flashing across the screen as they accomplish mild parkour while traversing. The user interface and aesthetic approach are reminiscent of recent titles, particularly Assassins Creed Odyssey, and this is verified by fighting after around a minute. A touchscreen prompt appears, instructing you to fight a level 40 Xiongnu Raider with a life bar. It takes several strikes to knock out the opponent, allowing the player to zipline away from the Great Wall.

The gameplay then transitions into a cinematic one with no voice acting but accurate sound effects that correlate to the action observed. Given the presence of subtitles, it is safe to presume that voiced performances are simply not included in the current build.

Regardless of the player’s level, tutorial prompts and character introductions indicate that this chapter occurs early in the game. The quality is likely to gratify those who are still interested in a title limited to iOS and Android, but expectations should be moderated. Players should be careful until Assassins Creed Jade is released because Diablo Immortal demonstrated that even known franchises can employ outrageous types of commercialization on mobile.

Assassi’s Creed Codename Jade is currently in development for iOS and Android.
