Himanshu Dhillon was the story of the day. The teenager scored 252.4 to take silver behind China’s Lihao Sheng, who finished on 254.2. Former world champion Rudrankksh Patil, who had led at stages of the final, took bronze.
Their individual medals came barely an hour after the same duo, with Parth Mane, won team silver. That took India’s shooting tally to five, after two silvers on Sunday.
A First for Indian MMA
The sixth medal came from Suchika Tariyal, who won bronze in the women’s traditional 60kg MMA event. It’s India’s first-ever Asian Games medal in the discipline, which is making its debut at the Asian Games 2026. She lost her semifinal to Singapore’s Teo Hui Hoon but still made the podium.
