Arteta’s future at Arsenal

Despite currently being 15th in the Premier League table, Mikel Arteta’s job looks stable. That is according to episode 16 of the “Here We Go” podcast on Patreon by Fabrizio and Francesco Romano.

Apparently, despite his current lack of results from the Premier League fixtures coming their way, Mikel Arteta’s position sits well amongst the Arsenal board. The club are convinced that he is the right man to lead them forward into the new era, and the faith of the higher authorities in charge.

While Arteta’s football might have lost its shine over the games, there is a serious lack of decision making and clinicality on the pitch.

Arsenal have been lacking in the final third of their game, and have had a very troubling time creating changes for the forwards to pounce on.

With Mesut Ozil already left out of the squad, Arsenal could use some new names in midfield to spice things up. Furthemore, there is apparently a change required in the dressing room that can hell improve the overall morale at the club.

Arteta was also a key factor in luring summer signing Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid to London. The former Arsenal midfielder is well respected by all at the club, and will be at Arsenal for the time being without any question, for better or worse.
