What’s New in Beta Test II?

This isn’t just an update—it’s a complete transformation. The main storyline has been reworked with brand-new dialogue and cutscenes, plus branching story paths that deliver unique content based on your choices. The combat system got a major overhaul too, featuring refined classes (Guard, Vanguard, Caster, Defender, Striker, Supporter) and damage types (Physical, Heat, Electric, Cryo, Nature).

The star attraction? Wuling, a stunning new region blending traditional Chinese aesthetics with sci-fi elements. Exploration gets easier with the new Crate Detector gadget and allied characters who actively guide you to treasure chests.

Photo mode finally arrives—a godsend for content creators who struggled capturing the game’s gorgeous visuals during the first beta. If you’re into mobile RPG photography, this addition alone makes CBT 2 worth trying.

Meet the New Operators

Beta Test II introduces nine brand-new operators, including 6-Star powerhouses Ardelia, Last Rite, and Pogranichnik. With 24 total operators available during testing, there’s plenty of team-building variety to experiment with.

The gacha system has been refined too—every 80 pulls guarantees a 6-Star Operator, and every 120 pulls secures the featured character. While this pity system won’t appear in CBT 2, it shows GRYPHLINE’s commitment to player-friendly progression.

Important: This Is a Data Wipe Test

All progress will be deleted when servers shut down at the test’s conclusion. No in-game purchases will be available during CBT 2, so enjoy the experience without worrying about spending money on temporary content.

Data can be synchronized between PC and mobile devices using the same account, meaning you can seamlessly switch platforms during your testing sessions—perfect for mobile gaming on the go and deeper sessions on PC.

Why This Matters for Strategy RPG Fans

Arknights: Endfield represents a bold evolution of the franchise that captured millions with its tower defense roots. This real-time 3D strategy RPG maintains the series’ tactical DNA while introducing exploration, base-building, and simultaneous four-operator combat with skill combos and elemental synergies.

For fans of tactical mobile RPGs, Endfield’s combination of strategic depth and action gameplay could set a new standard when it launches in early 2026 for PS5, PC, and mobile platforms.
