Are You Sure Season 2: BTS Jimin & Jungkook’s Post-Military Travel Show Drops December 3 on Disney+

BTS ARMY, get ready for an emotional reunion! Jimin and Jungkook are back with “Are You Sure?!” Season 2, filmed just one week after completing their mandatory military service in June 2025. The chaotic duo embarks on an unforgettable 12-day spontaneous adventure across Switzerland and Vietnam—with just 20-inch suitcases and zero advance planning.

Are You Sure Season 2 at a Glance

The 20-Inch Luggage Challenge

The most talked-about twist this season is the strict luggage restriction. Each member travels with only a 20-inch suitcase, creating unpredictable and chaotic moments. Fans already anticipate Jungkook’s struggles, as he’s notorious for overpacking. This minimalist approach promises hilarious shopping sprees at local stores and genuine spontaneity throughout their journey.

The teaser trailer shows the duo racing through a train station shouting about missing their train, capturing the unscripted chaos that made Season 1 a fan favorite.

Post-Military Reunion Energy

Season 2 was filmed after the duo completed their mandatory South Korean military service, marking their first joint project since reuniting. In the teaser, Jimin reflects emotionally: “Just a few days ago, we were still in the military,” adding layers of nostalgia and comfort for fans who waited 18 months for their return.

This season feels deeply personal—a celebration of freedom, friendship, and the simple joy of being together again. The timing couldn’t be more perfect as BTS prepares for their highly anticipated 2026 group comeback.

From Switzerland’s Mountains to Vietnam’s Shores

The 12-day journey spans from the majestic mountains of Switzerland to the vibrant shores of Vietnam. The duo explores picturesque locations including Poschiavo, the iconic Matterhorn, Da Nang’s beaches, and Hoi An’s historic streets—all with just a modest budget and a trusty guidebook.

Unlike typical travel shows with detailed itineraries, Jimin and Jungkook navigate their destinations without advance knowledge, armed only with spontaneity and each other’s company. The result is raw, genuine moments showcasing their unfiltered friendship.

What Made Season 1 Special

Season 1, released in August 2024 before their military enlistment, followed the duo through New York, Jeju Island, and Sapporo, Japan. The show became an instant hit for its authentic portrayal of their friendship—no scripts, no pretenses, just two friends enjoying camping, skiing, canoeing, and endless conversations.

The first season also featured BTS member V (Taehyung) as a surprise guest, and rumors suggest RM might make an appearance in Season 2, though nothing’s officially confirmed.

The BTS Comeback Context

BTS started working on their long-awaited new album in July, expected to be released in spring 2026, with a world tour to follow. This will be BTS’s first album since 2020’s “Be” and their first tour since the Permission to Dance On Stage run ended in 2022.

“Are You Sure?!” Season 2 serves as the perfect appetizer for what promises to be an explosive 2026 reunion. All seven members recently reunited for photos in Los Angeles during album recording sessions, confirming the countdown has begun.

Why This Season Hits Different

According to BigHit Music’s official statement: “Tune in for an unpredictable travel tale of the duo setting out with only a 20-inch suitcase each”. This season represents more than entertainment—it’s closure, reunion, nostalgia, and comfort rolled into one.

For fans who supported them through military service, this show offers reassurance that they’re back, they’re okay, and their bond remains unbreakable. If Season 1 was fun, Season 2 is deeply personal.
