If you didn’t compromise the financial side, Apple is the best option in the case of electronic gadgets. No matter either it is a smartphone or accessories or something else. This fact proves again. The company’s Pro Display XDR recently got the title “Best Displays of the Year”. Though, Apple has to share this title with some other displays too. Coming to that later.
The title is given by the Society for Information Display, a group of higher-level personalities from the display industry. Thay all either scientists, engineers, corporate researchers, or business entities. The SID provides the award every year to the worthy display models scenes 1962.
I already mentioned earlier, the Pro Display XDR is not the only one received the award. There is the foldable display by Samsung, BOE’s UHD BD Cell Display of 65 inches, and Audi’s Virtua Mirror System with OLED display sharing the award.
The Chairman of SID, Wei Chen added some words of praise, “With OLED’s rapid growth, the incumbent LCD technology continues to fight for footing by gaining new capabilities-as demonstrated by BOE’s ultra-high definition (UHD) BD Cell and Apple’s Pro Display XDR. Both have achieved high-dynamic-range (HDR) display performance in LCD, each with their own unique approach.”
Need to say Apple’s Pro Display XDR with 32″ 6K screen has two variants. The first one comes with a glossy finish and costs $4,999. The second one is of matte nano-texture glass. Due to the special texture, it costs more than the first variant. It costs $5,999.
