Finally, Apple’s Indian online store is live now and you can order its products directly with a lot of exciting offers. Among all of them, there’s one feature that would definitely excite Mac users is that you can now customize your own Mac, whether its the Mac laptop or a desktop.
From MacBook Air to MacBook Pro 16, or from iMac 27-inch to Mac Pro, you configure everything by your own way. Adding extra RAM to upgrading the CPU or GPU, you can do any and everything on your own new Mac product.
Although those upgrades involve astronomically high charges in some cases like upgrading your SSD to 1 TB requires an extra ₹40,000 and it just doubles up. Also, upgrading the GPU on the Mac Pro can be expensive as well costing some lakhs as well.
The thing that amazed me the most is that upgrading to 16GB DDR4 memory requires an extra ₹20,000 that does not make any sense as RAMs are very cheap these days. Although in some cases like the 13-inch MacBook Air, you can upgrade to 10th Gen Core i5 processor for just ₹10,000.
So, overall it’s a mixed bag, but the upgradability is available across Apple’s all Mac products and if you have money to spend, then head over to Apple online store. Also you can opt for your favorite Mac accessory as well easily.
