In the “first months” of 2024, Apple plans to begin educating its retail staff on the Apple Vision Pro in advance of the mixed-reality headset’s release. Apple has stated time and time again that the Apple Vision Pro headset will be available in early 2024, but it has not specified when.
Apple will start training employees for Vision Pro in January 2024
It has now been reported that Apple is preparing its retail store staff to use and sell the Vision Pro ahead of its introduction. It appears that it might go live later during that time instead of right around the beginning of the year.
Specialized training sessions are apparently being provided to staff members in a number of US retail outlets. Because the AR/VR headset is difficult and specialized, users must have their setup and adjustments personalized.
The Vision Pro headset is expected to be released by Apple in January 2024, according to initial reports. A fresh report out of Korea suggests that Samsung’s rival may have postponed its launch schedule by several months in order to fix quality issues. The release date may have been moved back to March.
A few staff members from each Apple Store location are reportedly being invited by the company to visit its headquarters in California in the middle of January. These fortunate few will get a hands-on look at the Vision Pro early in March and will also receive instruction on how to show, utilize, and sell it.
The anticipated price of the Apple Vision Pro headset upon debut is $3,499 dollars. This headgear is the first to use an OLEDoS (OLED on silicon) screen. While Sony provided the panel, Samsung Display is developing its own OLEDoS solution and hopes to take the lead in this market.
In June 2023, Apple debuted the Vision Pro, a high-end mixed reality headset targeted at early adopters and professionals. It has sophisticated features like 23 million pixel micro-OLED screens and an M2 chip combined with an R1 chip co-processor for video processing.
