A well-known analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, claimed in a recent blog post on Medium that Apple’s upcoming second-generation augmented reality headset would include a high-end and inexpensive version that will go on sale in the first half of 2025. In January 2023, the business intends to host a special event to introduce the first-generation AR Headset to the public. The headset is anticipated to be pricey at first, but the business might subsequently reveal a more cheap model.

Apple AR/VR Headset will cost more than $3,000, according to prior reports.

While it might not appeal to everyone at first, the manufacturer will later release a less expensive model that might contain a chipset that is less advanced than the higher-end model.

In the past, information on the headset’s processing power with M2 chip-like capabilities has been made available. Additionally, it might have 16GB of RAM to support a variety of AR and VR content.

In the past, references to “reality” were found in the source code. We may assume that Apple is certainly working on the software side of the AR Headset even though it does not explicitly mention the functions that are concealed within the device. Additionally, it was previously stated that the headset’s focus would be on gaming and entertainment.
