What’s Brewing in Season 24

6th Anniversary Event:
Time flies when you’re outmaneuvering squads in the Apex Arena! To celebrate six years of high-octane action, developers are rolling out a special anniversary event. Watch out for limited-time cosmetics and adventures that pay homage to the game’s vibrant history.
Legend and Weapon Updates:
The rumor mill suggests that Ash and Ballistic—two fan-favorite Assault class Legends—are set to receive notable buffs to their kits. On the weapons side, a brand-new system called Arsenals offers random weapon picks of a single type. A potential game-changer that could shake up your early-game strategy!
TTK & Shield Overhauls:
Get ready for a faster pace. Season 24 removes helmets from ground loot entirely, relying on a new red-tier “mythic” body shield. Yes, your beloved helmet perks are essentially gone, replaced by a system that places more emphasis on positioning and timely armor swaps. If you’ve been craving that adrenaline rush in close-quarters combat, this one might be for you.
Mythic R-301 Skin:
A sure-to-be-coveted highlight of the 6th Anniversary event is the Mythic-tier R-301. Unlike previous reactive skins, this Prestige cosmetic comes with multiple color combos and even interactive features. If you’re a collector, get ready to grind or open your wallet—this one’s a showstopper.

Rank Reset and Beyond

With every seasonal change, ranks reset, giving veterans and newcomers alike a chance to prove themselves. Whether you’re aiming for Rookie or Master, be prepared to face new strategies as the meta shifts. With TTK changes, random weapon “Arsenals,” and fresh Legend buffs, no match will ever be the same.

In short, Apex Legends Season 24 – Takeover is shaping up to be one of the most transformative updates we’ve seen yet. From the removal of helmets to the introduction of Arsenals, the developers are definitely keeping players on their toes. Make sure you’re ready by finishing your current battle pass and clearing download space—it’s almost game time!

FAQs

Q1: Will Season 24 still have helmets at all?

Not in the way you’re used to. Helmets have been removed from ground loot. You can only acquire mythic-tier armor (the new red shield) by equipping a red helmet. However, helmets no longer reduce incoming damage, so your positioning and shield usage will matter more than ever.

Q2: How big will the Season 24 update be?

While exact file sizes vary by platform, you can expect a relatively large download because of the major gameplay changes and new anniversary content. Plan to free up at least a few gigabytes on your device to accommodate the patch.
