Anker SOLIX S5000 Specs Table

Runtime Estimates

Anker estimates up to 48 hours of runtime for a mix of a fridge, Wi-Fi router, coffee maker, lights and phone. A fridge alone could run up to 86 hours, while a window AC unit could run up to 25 hours. Anker calls it the longest-lasting 5kWh power station in its class, but that is based on its own testing.

Ports and Design

The outlets include L14-30R, TT-30R for RVs, NEMA 5-20R, USB-A and a 100W USB-C port. Idle consumption on the 120V output is 8.8W. At 10.6 x 22 x 15.2 inches, it has built-in wheels and a pull rod to ease the 44kg weight, and it is lighter than the 3,840Wh Anker SOLIX F3800.

Expandable Power

You can grow capacity from 5kWh to 30kWh with up to five extra batteries. Expansion prices were not listed. Anker says the cells should last about 15 years at one or two cycles a day, while product coverage lasts five years.

Price and Availability

The list price is $3,599.99, but the launch price is $2,499.99 through Anker’s store and Amazon. An early-access sign-up offers a discount pack worth $1,799. Sales begin October 27 in the US, and no other markets were announced, so Indian buyers cannot count on it yet. See the brand at Anker and background on Wikipedia.

What Is Not Confirmed

Runtimes, the 99-minute charge time and the class-leading claim all come from Anker. Expansion battery pricing, warranty details beyond five years and any non-US launch have not been shared.

Quick Answers

Who Is It For?

At 4,500W of rated output and a 5kWh battery, the S5000 is aimed at home backup, RV owners and people who need serious off-grid power, not casual campers. The 10ms switchover means it can behave like a UPS for sensitive equipment during a grid outage. The 97 lb weight is manageable only thanks to the wheels and pull rod. Buyers should compare the launch price of $2,499.99 against home battery systems and larger rivals, remembering that the list price is $3,599.99 and the launch discount may not last. Anker also offers expansion batteries, so the system can grow later, though their prices have not been announced.
