The Red team’s Ryzen 5000 series CPUs have already been launched and it consists of 4 new CPUs for every people who are looking for good budget and high-end CPUs. These CPUs promised better gaming performance over last generation as well over Intel’s current best CPUs.
So, its obvious that before its actual availability the benchmarks have already started to surface across the internet. The latest set of Geekbench 5 scores from our prominent tipster @TUM_APISAK does suggest that AMD’s upcoming flagship CPU can finally hit that 5GHz barrier.
The Ryzen 9 5950X is said to hit up to 5.04GHz with a single-core score of 1661 points while in multicore it gains as much as 15804 points. Whereas the 12-core monster Ryzen 9 5900X is not far behind with almost similar single-core score of 1647 points whereas a multi-core score of 12601 points.
The Ryzen 7 5800X with 8 cores manages to score 1619 points in single-core test while managing 10096 points in multi-core tests. On the other hand, the budget Ryzen 5 5600X manages to grab 1496 points in single-core test, attaining up to 4.64GHz clock speeds and 7550 points in multi-core tests with lower RAM speeds.
All these CPUs will be on shelves for you to buy on November 5th and seeing these scores it already makes sense why AMD is now the best choice even for gaming as well as multitasking jobs as well.
