The Red team has already reduced the pricing of its existing Zen 3 based CPUs in other countries and now they have finally declared that their Ryzen 5000 series processors will become more affordable than ever.

In the wake of new 12th Gen Intel Alder Lake CPUs, AMD has been completely overthrown with the tremendous performance and as they are yet to launch its upcoming Zen 4 based products, all they can do is to reduce pricing to counter Intel.

AMD officially reduces Indian pricing of its existing Ryzen 5000 series processors

In their Instagram story, AMD India did post this pricing update wherein we see the existing Ryzen 5 5600X’s price has been reduced to Rs.22,408 (including GST). On the other hand, the 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X now will cost you only Rs.42,468 (including GST), this mimics the price of Core i7-12700K which incidentally beats the AMD one in our comparison.

To counter Intel’s new flagship Core i9-12900K which also excelled in our review, AMD has further reduced the pricing of their 16 core Ryzen 9 5950X to only Rs.58,988 (including GST). This is a good move by AMD for the time being, however, the strong gaming performance of these new Intel processors and falling pricing of both its CPUs as well as the platform makes AMD vulnerable with time.
