Why the Snapdragon X Matters in 2026

The Snapdragon X isn’t just another laptop chip — it’s ARM-based silicon purpose-built for AI workloads, delivering 45 TOPS of on-device processing without relying on the cloud. That means features like AI noise reduction on video calls, document summarisation, and email drafting happen locally — faster and without needing an internet connection.

The 36-hour battery life claim is the other headline figure. At 1.42kg with a GaN charger 42% lighter than standard adapters, this is genuinely designed to be an all-day, bag-friendly machine. We covered the broader Snapdragon laptop story in our Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit 2026 coverage — next-gen Snapdragon X silicon is coming, which explains why current-gen deals like this are this aggressive.

Is This the Right Time to Buy?

At ₹68,990, the HP Omnibook 3 undercuts most Intel Core Ultra laptops in this spec range, while offering dramatically better battery life. The trade-off is app compatibility — while hundreds of Windows apps now run natively on Snapdragon, some legacy software still relies on emulation, which can be slower.

If your workflow is primarily productivity-focused (Office, browsers, video calls, AI tools), this is one of the best value Copilot+ PCs available in India right now. For heavy creative or gaming workloads, an Intel or AMD-based laptop may still serve you better. For more Prime Day laptop deals and comparisons, check our laptops section on TechnoSports.
