  1. Top up your Amazon Pay balance

Amazon Pay offers a ‘cash load at doorstep’ service, allowing KYCed customers to give additional cash or leftover change to the delivery agent during a cash-on-delivery order. You can deposit cash up to ₹50,000 per month, including ₹2,000 denomination notes. 2. Complete video KYC on the Amazon app

To avail of this service, you need to complete the video KYC process on the Amazon app, which takes around 5-10 minutes. Once you’ve completed KYC, you can easily hand over the currency notes to the delivery agent during your next cash-on-delivery order. The updated balance will reflect in your Amazon Pay account shortly after.

  3. Enjoy the benefits of digital payments

After depositing the cash, you can create a UPI handle on your Amazon Pay balance account in less than a minute. This allows you to make payments to anyone, anywhere. You can scan and pay using QR codes in shops, send money to phone numbers or individuals, and make purchases on your favorite online apps, all with the convenience and security of Amazon Pay, available 24×7.

Customers like Divya from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, have found this service extremely helpful. She shares her experience of how she used to keep cash and change ready for COD orders until a delivery associate informed her about loading the extra amount into her Amazon Pay balance. Since then, she has been utilizing this feature to make purchases on Amazon.
