Amazon did really announce a lot of new products from its Echo lineup including its affordable Echo Dot with clock and all-new 3rd gen Echo. Amazon also launched a couple of more smart devices in its Echo lineup and has introduced the new Echo Studio and an updated Echo Show 8.
Echo Studio
The new Amazon Echo Studio aims to offer an immersive sound and compete against the likes of Google Home Max and Apple HomePod. It comes with 1″ tweeter, three 2″ mid-range speakers, and a 5.25″ woofer.
This set produces powerful bass, dynamic mid-range, and crisp highs. With 33W of peak power, it offers deep and rich bass by using the bass port at the bottom. The inclusion of Dolby Atmos technology makes it the best sounding device in the Echo lineup so far.Â
The Echo Studio has a 24-bit DAC accompanied by a power amplifier with 100KHz of bandwidth for high-res, lossless music playback.
The Echo Studio can be paired with the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K for audio playback with multi-channel sound, also it has support for Dolby Atmos, Dolby Audio 5.1, and stereo audio. The speaker automatically senses the acoustics of your space and fine-tunes playback to deliver you an optimal sound experience.
Like all other Echo devices, you can use voice commands to control music as well as smart home devices. It supports tons of Alexa skills, and the company says that the Echo Studio is built with user’s privacy protection kept in mind.
The Amazon Echo Studio will cost you $199 and is now up for pre-orders, shipping will start from November 7.
Echo Show 8
Its been a few months or so that Amazon launched the Echo Show 5, but now the company has launched the new Echo Show 8, that is an 8-inch version of the Amazon Echo Show. It features an 8″ HD screen and gives you stereo sound experience.
You can make video calls with the Echo Show 8 – call friends and family who have the Alexa app or an Echo device with a screen. Also, make announcements to other devices in your home and ask Alexa to show you security cameras, control lights, and adjust thermostats.
The big 8-inch screen helps you keep entertained always, just ask Alexa to show you movie trailers, TV shows, movies, or the news. You can also listen to radio stations, podcasts, and audiobooks via the speaker of the Echo Show. The Echo Show 8 will feature a new Drop-in On All feature, which lets the users create a large group chat with family and friends.
The company even says that the users will be able to watch Food Network TV shows on the device itself. There’s a new feature that helps users to ask Alexa to save a recipe, also you can ask Alexa about any ingredients that might show up in a recipe.
Amazon has priced the Echo Show 8 at $129, it is now up for pre-order and will start shipping from November 21 onwards.
