At an event in the United States, online shopping giant Amazon unveiled some of its new Echo products to its worldwide customers. Its new Echo smart speaker and new Echo Dot with the clock have an immersive sound quality and enhanced features.

Echo Dot with clock
Amazon’s Echo Dot is a very popular smart speaker because being a low budget smart speaker it retains all the smart functionalities and immersive sound quality. So, the new Amazon Echo Dot now comes with an LED display that can show time, outdoor temperature or timers, whatever you want to choose to see.
In terms of audio output, the new Echo Dot features a 1.6″ speaker and you can operate it through voice commands. The light sensor present in the device automatically adjusts the LED display’s brightness during the day and night so that it is visible comfortably.
Like its predecessor, along with operating via voice commands you can also control music, ask weather, news, directions and much more. The new Echo Dot supports new Alexa skills and Amazon says that it is also designed to protect your privacy.
The new Echo Dot has been priced $10 more than the standard model that costs $59 only. It is now available for pre-order and shipping will start from 16th October. In India, the Echo Dot with the clock will be priced at ₹5,499.
The new Amazon Echo (3rd Gen)
The company has improved one of its highest selling smart speakers – it comes with new fabric design, offers an improved sound quality along with all-in-one access to Alexa. The speakers of the Amazon Echo has been upgraded to new premium speakers with 2.5″ woofer and 0.6″ tweeter powered by Dolby.
So with improved speakers, you can experience 360-degree audio with crisp vocals and dynamic bass response. Enjoy hands-free music with Alexa which lets you control your music and lets you stream from Amazon Prime Music, Apple Music, JioSaavn, Gaana etc. You can also adjust equalizer settings using voice commands.
You can even use the Amazon Echo to call or message family and friends those who have an Echo device or the Alexa app and use Alexa to make Skype calls as well.
Lie its predecessor, you can also control smart home devices including lights, plugs and more with compatible connected devices using voice commands. The new Amazon Echo has been built with multiple layers of privacy protections and controls which includes a microphone off button that electronically disconnects the microphones.
The all-new Amazon Echo will be available in a new Blue colour as well as in Black, Grey, and White options. It carries a price tag of $99 or ₹9,999 in India and is now available for pre-order, shipping will start from 16th October.
