From Best Friends to Strangers: Alix Earle Calls First Run-In With Ex Braxton Berrios ‘Terrible’ as Tom Brady Rumors Heat Up

Sometimes life doesn’t give you a heads-up before throwing you into the same room as your ex. That’s exactly what happened to social media influencer Alix Earle at the Palm Tree Music Festival in Aspen, Colorado — and she’s not sugarcoating how it felt.

The Alix Earle Story Overview

“Terrible” — In Her Own Words

In a candid TikTok captioned “Wednesday chat,” Earle told her millions of followers exactly how it went down. The first night in Aspen they were in the same space but didn’t acknowledge each other — she didn’t want to “annoy him.” The second night brought a brief “hi.” That was it.

But the emotional weight of that brief exchange hit hard. Earle summed it up with one unflinching line:

“It’s weird when you go from someone being like your best friend to being a stranger in the corner of the room. So that was tough — and by tough I mean terrible.”

Fans flooded the comments with support, and the clip rapidly went viral.

Tom Brady — Are the Rumours Real?

While Earle was navigating Aspen, the internet was busy with a parallel storyline. Days earlier she’d been photographed in NYC wearing a sweatshirt reading “ON TO BETTER” — which fans immediately linked to Berrios. Then came the Brady buzz.

The speculation reportedly kicked off on New Year’s Eve in St. Barts, where Earle and the seven-time Super Bowl champion were seen in overlapping social circles. They later appeared together at a Super Bowl party in San Francisco, where witnesses said the pair were seen dancing together.

Brady, who has kept his personal life quietly private since his 2022 divorce from Gisele Bündchen, hasn’t publicly addressed any of it.

Moving Forward

When the breakup was first announced in late 2025, Earle was candid: “I can’t be what Braxton needs. I love Braxton, he’s my best friend — so it has been very difficult.” The Aspen run-in proved those feelings don’t just disappear.

But she says she’s focused on what’s ahead. Whether Tom Brady is part of that picture remains to be seen.
