About the Makers’ Previous Hit
The Kannan Ravi Groups previously bankrolled Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil, a political comedy satire starring Jiiva, about a panchayat president caught between managing two simultaneous family events — a wedding and a funeral — that spiral into complete chaos. The film struck a chord with audiences and is currently streaming on Netflix.
