Step 1: Download and Setup LM Studio
First off, you need to download and set up LM Studio. You can find the instructions here.
Step 2: Choose Your Preferred Model
Next, navigate to the search tab and paste the required search term based on the model you wish to run. Here are a couple of examples:For Mistral 7b, paste: “TheBloke/Mistral-7B-Instruct-v0.2-GGUF”For CodeLLAMA 7b, paste: “TheBloke/CodeLlama-7B-Instruct-GGUF”Feel free to explore other models as well.
Step 3: Download the Q5 K M Model File
In the right-hand panel, scroll down until you find the Q5 K M model file. Click ‘Download’. We recommend the Q5 K M for most models on Ryzen AI.
Step 4: Load the Model
After downloading, select the model from the drop-down menu at the top center of your screen. Wait for it to finish loading.
Step 5: Switch to Markdown Mode
Once your model is loaded, navigate to the chat tab and click on the “Markdown” option in the top right.
