Ahn Hyo Seop Turns Up The Heat In “Final Table” — And He’s Not Sweating It

Soompi just dropped the first teaser for “Final Table,” and it’s already serving big “calm before the storm” energy. The show follows elite Korean chefs battling it out in “The Table: K-Chef 2026,” a brutal survival competition to crown the nation’s best chef. Knives are flying, tempers are flaring — and right in the middle of it stands Ahn Hyo Seop, playing chef Kang Han, looking like he’s already won.

What Happens In ‘Final Table’ Teaser?

The clip opens deceptively quiet. Kang Han seems relaxed, almost too relaxed, while rival chefs scramble for ingredients and grab each other by the collar. Then his eyes light up mid-cook, and you realize: this is a man who thrives under pressure, not despite it.

The mic-drop moment comes when the dishes hit the judges’ table and Kang Han says it straight: “If I can’t do it, then who can?” Bold? Extremely. Backed up? We’ll find out.

Why This One’s Worth Watching?

Cooking-competition dramas live or die by tension, and this teaser has it in spades — flames, collar-grabbing, and a lead who stays eerily composed while everyone else unravels. If Ahn Hyo Seop’s calm-confidence combo pays off on screen the way it does in the trailer, “Final Table” could be this fall’s most binge-worthy K-drama.
