If you’ve ever watched Business Proposal or Dr. Romantic 3 and found yourself wondering, “Is Ahn Hyo Seop dating someone in real life?” — you’re absolutely not alone. The charm this man brings to every role makes it nearly impossible not to ship him with everyone he stands next to. But the Ahn Hyo Seop GF question finally has an official answer, straight from the actor himself.
Ahn Hyo Seop GF Status: He Set the Record Straight
In January 2024, Ahn Hyo Seop took to Weverse DM to address the swirling dating speculation head-on. He clearly stated that he is currently single, putting an end to all the rumor mills at once. He also expressed sincere gratitude toward fans for their love and support, and mentioned that he is still on a personal journey of learning and understanding what love means — while also gently requesting that his privacy be respected.
Fans, of course, responded with a wave of warmth and encouragement. Because that’s just the kind of fandom this man has.
The clarification came after a viral moment at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards, where Ahn Hyo Seop was spotted sharing a hug with his Dr. Romantic co-star Lee Sung-kyung and lending her his coat — earning him the title of “true gentleman” from fans worldwide, while also inadvertently sparking fresh dating rumors.
