Ahn Eun Jin Plays A Director Fighting To Save Her Dream In “A Love Other Than Yours”

Ten years of love, a stalled career, and feelings that suddenly feel unfamiliar — KBS2’s upcoming drama “A Love Other Than Yours” just released new stills, and Ahn Eun Jin‘s portrayal of a struggling film director is already striking a nerve.

What’s The Drama About?

“A Love Other Than Yours” is a realistic romance following a couple in their tenth year of dating as unexpected emotional shifts creep into a relationship that once felt completely familiar. It’s less about grand romantic gestures and more about the quiet, complicated reality of long-term love.

Ahn Eun Jin plays Lee Mi Do, a film director and longtime girlfriend of Namgoong Ho, played by Seo Kang Jun. Mi Do once turned heads with her short films and achieved her dream earlier than most — but now finds herself stuck at the lowest point of her career as project after project falls through.

Quick Facts

A Relationship Tested By Time

Namgoong Ho has been by Mi Do’s side since they were seven years old — first as her oldest friend, then as her boyfriend of a full decade. But with her career stalling and her love life offering no clear answers either, Mi Do finds herself deep in thought about where her present is heading. As unfamiliar emotions start seeping into her once-predictable daily life, things between the couple begin to shift in complicated ways.

The newly released stills show Mi Do moving between filming locations and work cafes, capturing both her determination to hold onto her dream and the uncertainty of a reality that refuses to cooperate.

What The Production Team Is Saying

The show’s production team described Mi Do as a character anyone who’s ever felt torn between dreams and reality can relate to. They praised Ahn Eun Jin for delicately capturing the character’s realism and inner strength from the very first day of filming, promising viewers a story of both laughter and tears this fall.

Seo Kang Jun, known for his roles across a range of Korean dramas, brings steady chemistry to the story as Mi Do’s longtime partner.
