Adipurush, Om Raut’s new movie starring Prabhas is all about a spin-off from the epic tale of Ramayan. It celebrates the victory of good over evil. It’s a retelling of the Indian epic – Ramayana. Adipurush was released on 16th June 2023.
The movie starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan has high expectations but it has not reached that level. The movie’s VFX and dialogue have been in constant duration due to poor quality. The movie has started on a great note but recently has experienced a steep decline on its 5th day after its release. After seeing all these situations and circumstances, the makers of the movie Adipurush have reduced the ticket price to Rs 150.
Adipurush reduce the ticket price for the 22nd and 23rd to Rs 150
Till Wednesday, the movie has made a quite good collection at the box office. But on its 5th day, it experienced the lowest dip in five days. Amid the same, the makers have reduced the ‘Adipurush’ ticket fee to that Rs 150 to encourage the audience to watch the film. ‘Adipurush’ has been re-released in Hindi with edited and changed dialogues.
The reduced price is available only for the 22nd and 23rd of June and makes it easily available for the viewers. It has also come to know that for the 3D glasses, it may take some extra charges as applicable by the theatres. Along with it, a new poster with a proper announcement of the news has been disclosed.
Box Office Collection
On the fourth day after the release, Adipurush earned over Rs 375 crore worldwide. The makers shared the official collection report on June 20. The film’s collection further dipped on Tuesday, June 20, and raked in Rs 16 crore in India. On Day 5, the film saw a steep dip and mounted Rs 10.7 crore at the domestic box office. This takes the five-day total collection to Rs 247.8 crore at the domestic box office.
Adipurush is a mythological tale based on Valmiki’s Ramayana. The film features Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. They play the roles of Raghava, Janaki, and Lankesh, respectively, in the film. Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage are part of the supporting cast.
