Eight Years Ago, a Sniper and a Reporter Crossed Paths: A Bona Fide Killer Reveals Their World Cup Origin Story

Turns out the first meeting between Yu Bo Na and Kwon Tae Sung wasn’t romantic at all — it was a rooftop, a rifle, and a World Cup crowd used as the perfect cover. “A Bona Fide Killer” has released new stills unpacking exactly how these two crossed paths eight years ago, and it’s every bit as tense as you’d expect from a drama about a secretly lethal working mom.

The stills pick up where a previous flashback left off — Yu Bo Na finding Kwon Tae Sung collapsed and bleeding, a moment that’s haunted their dynamic ever since. Now we finally see the full picture of that day.

What the New Stills Reveal

Dressed as the picture-perfect Korean football fan — red T-shirt, headband and all — Yu Bo Na heads to what looks like a routine client meeting. In reality, she’s Kingfisher, calmly taking her position on a rooftop sniping spot and completing an assassination with an unsettlingly relaxed smile. The World Cup crowd noise, it turns out, was the perfect cover for her hit.

Meanwhile, reporter Kwon Tae Sung rushes to the same location chasing a very different story: pickpockets exploiting the World Cup chaos. His pursuit of a suspect goes sideways when he’s attacked, leaving him bleeding on the ground — right where Yu Bo Na finds him, in a meeting neither of them will remember the same way.

The stills also tease a second mystery: Ki Young Do’s job interview at Durumi Electronics takes a dark turn when a gun is suddenly pointed at him, hinting at his own tangled history with Yu Bo Na.
