What Is the Drama About?

Lee Ga Kyeong (Kim You Jung) is a pickpocket who becomes an undercover spy for the independence movement. She infiltrates the Japanese Government-General of Korea, where she gets entangled with interpreter Kim Tae Woong, also known as Sato Hideo (Park Jinyoung). He is the adopted son of the Inspector-General of Korea, the second-highest-ranking official in the administration.

The calm doesn’t last. Fukuda (Kim Joong Hee), the chief of the Japanese Government-General of Police Bureau, orders Lee Ga Kyeong to interpret an interrogation of an arrested independence fighter. The assignment throws her into turmoil. Sato Hideo watches from the sidelines and grows increasingly concerned about her.

It’s a high-stakes test of her struggle to survive as a secret agent.
