A Shop for Killers 2: Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hye Jun’s Squad Finally Gets a Breather

Before the guns come back out, the Murthehelp team is taking a moment to just… be a family. New stills from A Shop for Killers 2 show the fan-favorite squad trading bullets for barbecue, and honestly, it might be the softest the show has ever looked.

What’s Happening in the New Stills in A Shop for Killers 2?

The Disney+ action drama has released warm, unexpectedly cozy photos of its ensemble cast enjoying downtime away from the show’s usual high-stakes battles. Lee Dong Wook’s Jeong Jin Man — a man who barely cracks a smile on a good day — is seen quietly watching his niece Ji An (Kim Hye Jun) grill pork belly with the team, his gaze full of unspoken pride.

Why These Stills Matter for the Story

Season 2 finds Ji An stepping into her uncle’s shoes as the shopping mall’s new CEO, teaming up with a very-much-alive Jin Man to take down the shadowy global syndicate Babylon. Watching her grow from a girl who needed protecting into someone leading her own team makes these quiet, unguarded moments hit harder — they’re proof of how far the found family has come.

Min Hye, in particular, gets a nice character beat here. She’s ruthless in a fight, but stills show her settling into a genuine big-sister role with Ji An after training sessions — a small but telling contrast to her battlefield persona.
