Ten years of dating can make even the biggest romantics forget how to dress up for each other. This week, one couple is fighting back.

KBS 2TV’s “A Love Other Than Yours” just dropped new stills of Namgoong Ho (Seo Kang Jun) and Lee Mi Do (Ahn Eun Jin) doing something they haven’t done in a while — actually getting dressed up for a date.

What’s Happening in the Story?

The drama follows a couple a full decade into their relationship, unpacking the quiet emotional shifts that creep in once familiarity replaces butterflies. In the previous episode, the two got back together right after a breakup, and despite disagreeing on marriage, Namgoong Ho proposed to Lee Mi Do — pushing their long relationship into new territory.

Now, in the upcoming third episode, the couple heads to a high-end restaurant, swapping their usual casual, comfortable look for full glam. After a decade of seeing each other in sweatpants and makeup-free mornings, they’re consciously trying to break their relationship plateau with one deliberately romantic night out.

A Love Other Than Yours: Overview

Character	Actor	Relationship Status	This Episode’s Twist
Namgoong Ho	Seo Kang Jun	Reunited after breakup, proposed	Dresses up for a high-end dinner date
Lee Mi Do	Ahn Eun Jin	10 years into the relationship	Steps out of her comfort zone for the night
Theme	—	Long-term love hitting a plateau	Rekindling romance through effort

Why It Resonates?

The show taps into something real: the emotional labor long relationships require once novelty fades. It’s a familiar arc across romance storytelling — the tension between comfort and passion, something even explored in the concept of companionate love, where affection deepens even as initial spark fades.

Whether dressing up for one dinner is enough to reignite their connection remains the real question fans are tuning in for.
