A look at the new Core i7-1195G7 and the Core i5-1155G7

Intel is yet to launch its new Tiger Lake-H processors in the market, but according to some sources, the Tiger Lake-U and H35 line-up could soon be getting a refresh.

Earlier, we have seen the spec update of the Core i7-11390H and the Core i5-11320H. But now we got information about the Core i7-1195G7 and the Core i5-1155G7 from the Tiger Lake UP3 lineup.

Tiger Lake-H35 Refresh

As of now, the blue team offers us the Core i7-11375H Special Edition, Core i7-11370H, and the Core i5-11300H under the Tiger Lake-H35 umbrella. However, the listed will be further expanded by the inclusion of the Core i7-11390H and the Core i5-11320H.

Coming to the Core i7-11390H, it offers up to 5 GHz boost on two cores and a 300 MHz boost on all cores compared to the Core i7-11375H which offers an all-core boost clock from 4.3 to 4.6 GHz.

The Core i5-11320H on the other hand is now capable of reaching up to 4.5 GHz boost on one and two cores while the all-core turbo gets increased to 4.3 GHz from 4.0 GHz in the Core i5-11300 MHz. The Core i7-11390H will sport 96 execution units (EUs) while the Core i5-11320H will feature 80 EUs.

New Tiger Lake UP3 SKUs

Speaking of the updates Tiger Lake UP3 line-up, we have the 28 W cTDP up the lineup in the 11th gen series (UP4 being 15 W cTDP up). From a well-known leaker@momomo_uson Twitter, we know that there exists a new 11th gen Core i7-1195G7 with a base clock of 2.9 GHz.

The Core i7-1195G7 scored 859 points in the PugetBench test (viaTom’s Hardware). Videocardz also reported spotting a Core i7-1155G7 part on a few retailer websites. This processor reportedly has a base clock of 2.8 GHz and a boost up to 4.7 GHz.

For now, that’s the only information that is available about the SKUs, however, the Core i7-1185G7 and the Core i7-1165G7 have similar specifications. However, the Core i7-1195G7 is reported to have a 100 MHz lower base clock than the Core i7-1185G7.

Intel has not made it clear as to when the laptops which this processor will power will be launched in the market. it seems that Intel is boosting its lineup against AMD’s Zen 3 Cezanne and Lucienne line-up.
