What the Team Is Saying?

Felicia Pride said the audience response feels validating, and she’s eager to return to Hillman with more heartfelt stories that connect across generations. Debbie Allen was far louder about it, celebrating the Top 10 run and promising fans a bigger Season 2. Netflix comedy executive Tracey Pakosta added that the company believed in this team from day one.

The Season 2 Storyline

Deborah and her classmates return from transformative summers with a “New Year, New Me” mindset. Of course, that doesn’t last. Netflix teases past decisions catching up, uncertain futures, new romances and friendships, and bigger questions about purpose. Expect plenty of fresh chaos along the way.

Allen directed 83 episodes of the original series, so the revival has real roots. Looking for your next binge while you wait? Our entertainment picks on Technosports have you covered.
