Nothing Phone 3 India Launch Set for July 1, Price Around ₹90,000

Nothing Phone 3 is set to launch soon in India and other global markets, with the company officially confirming the release date. This upcoming model is touted as the first true flagship smartphone from the UK-based brand. The company has now started teasing some design changes and features. Surprisingly, the phone could lose the brand’s signature Glyph Interface, a significant change from prior models. Previous leaks had also shared likely specs and pricing.

As per an X announcement, the Nothing Phone 3 will be launched on July 1 at 6 pm BST or 10:30 pm IST. It will go on sale in India via Flipkart. Although the company has withheld other details, pre-existing information from Nothing CEO Carl Pei has suggested that the device would launch with a price tag of roughly £800 – approximately ₹90,000. This would nearly double the launch price of the Nothing Phone 2, which started at ₹44,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant.

Additional leaks suggest that the base 12GB + 256GB model might cost about $799 (around ₹68,000), while the higher-end 16GB + 512GB variant could be priced near $899 (around ₹77,000). The device is expected to launch in black and white color options.

The removal of the Glyph Interface is a significant leap in design since it was one of the key qualities of the previous two models. A foreshadowing teaser also explicitly shows a textured, dual-tone backplate and even highlights the new design direction. Being a flagship, Nothing Phone 3 is likely to offer either the Snapdragon 8 Elite or MediaTek Dimensity 9400 series chipsets. It should be armed with a battery of over 5,000mAh and a triple camera system with a periscope telephoto lens on the back.
