Oppo Reno14 Pro Global Variant Spotted with Dimensity 8450

Oppo unveiled the Reno14 and Reno14 Pro in China in mid-May, and a global launch is now on the horizon.  The company indirectly hinted at this international rollout last month through promotional material highlighting the phones’ integration with Google’s Gemini AI.

Now, fresh evidence pointing to a global launch has emerged through Geekbench, where the Reno 4 Pro was spotted with the model number CPH2739. The model number pretty much distinguishes it from the Chinese version, where Oppo uses a “CPH” naming convention for its international models.

According to the Geekbench listing, the global variant of the Reno14 Pro is listed with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 chipset – the very same one that arrived with the Chinese edition. This is interesting considering brands tend to use more modest processors with their international iterations. Oppo, however, seems to be maintaining the same performance level across regions. The benchmarked unit includes 12GB of RAM, though other configurations could also be available at launch.

The phone runs Android 15, which is expected to be its out-of-the-box software version. While Android 16 is slated to launch soon, and the Reno14 Pro’s international debut is expected in July, there’s hope that Oppo will roll out timely updates to keep the device current. If the global model mirrors the Chinese variant in hardware, it should offer a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1272×2800 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1,200 nits.

Storage options may include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Camera features are likely to include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP front-facing shooter. The phone is expected to house a 6,200mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, making it a premium offering on the global stage.
