A standout feature of this series is the new low-reflection screen, which Xiaomi says reduces glare to just 1.8%, increasing contrast and black levels in brighter rooms. The TVs use VA panels with Mini LED backlight and several optical film layers to improve light management and image clarity.

The TV has a different number of local dimming zones depending on the size, with the 55-inch featuring 408 zones and the 75-inch a more impressive 704 zones. The flagship 75-inch S75 variant supports 4K resolution (3840×2160), 1700 nits of peak brightness, and a native refresh rate of 144Hz, upgradable to 288Hz in gaming mode. It features Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for an improved gaming experience.

The S75 is powered by Xiaomi’s second-generation Master Image Engine, which comes with an AI algorithm system for real-time color tuning, dynamic contrast enhancement, and precise local dimming. It’s also a factory-calibrated 94% DCI-P3 colour gamut display and is factory-calibrated to a Delta E of around 2 for accurate color reproduction. Internally, the TV is driven by a quad-core Cortex-A73 processor, Mali-G52 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage.

The TV runs on HyperOS 2.0 and features voice control via Xiaomi’s Xiao AI assistant, NFC screen casting, and smart home integration. Its ultra-slim, near bezel-less design allows for seamless wall mounting. Additionally, Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia M40S robot vacuum-mop, featuring 23,000Pa suction and a liftable LiDAR sensor, alongside the Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 4 Max, which offers a patented edge-cleaning arm and the same high suction power.
