Motorola Edge 60 Pro Tipped to Launch in India This Month

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is expected to launch in India soon, according to tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd). He recently wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that the phone might launch in the country by the end of this month. Motorola has not made an official announcement, but given the timing, a launch might be imminent.

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro has already been announced in selected global markets, alongside the regular Motorola Edge 60. Both the Indian and the global model will be almost the same in terms of specifications. According to the leak, the phone may feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme SoC, a 6,000mAh battery unit, and 90W wired fast charging support — all of which can help the device to generate considerable buzz in the premium mid-range segment.

The global model of the Edge 60 Pro boasts an impressive camera setup, which may also be included in the Indian version. It has a 50-megapixel primary Sony Lytia 700C sensor with AI optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, the phone has a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. Some other key highlights of the global model are a 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

It’s also complete with IP68, IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance for that added durability. The device runs on Android 15-based Hello UI out of the box. Motorola recently launched the Edge 60 Fusion and Edge 60 Stylus in India, with prices starting at ₹22,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Given its premium specs, the Edge 60 Pro is expected to be priced slightly higher, positioning it as a feature-rich option in the mid-to-high-end smartphone segment.
