Already Samsung has announced its upcoming flagship SoC for its Galaxy S21 series will be unveiled just 2 days before the S21 launch, i.e. on January 12th. Now, before that its performance benchmarks have surfaced on the internet and it seems promising more than ever.

Thanks to @UniverseIce for Geekbench score leak and it is indeed better than our expectations. The highest score that the Exynos 2100 achieved is 1089 points on single-core and 3617 points in multi-core, and this is very close to what the latest Snapdragon 888 has achieved.

When compared directly to the scores published by Qualcomm of its Snapdragon 888, you’ll see a minor difference between the two upcoming flagship smartphone SoCs. The Qualcomm Snapdragon had the highest Geekbench score of 1139 points in single-core and 3810 over multi-core.

As for now, comparing the leaks to the official Qualcomm scores makes the Exynos 2100 only 4% slower in single-core and 5% in multi-core benchmarks. So, indeed the new 5nm flagship SoC by Samsung is impressive and the scores speak for itself, see you on January 12!
