The Microsoft Vision mixed reality headset was showcased at the Boao Forum for Asia, being held from March 25 to March 28, 2025. Vivo Vision 2 1 Vivo Unveils Vision MR Headset, X200 Ultra Launch in April

From a design perspective, the Vivo Vision looks very similar to Apple’s Vision Pro. Its design resembles a ski-goggle laced with a black, high-gloss glass face, dozens of cameras hidden within the front panel and body, an external pack, and a magnetic port for connecting the battery. This combination of similarities implies that Vivo indeed hopes to go head to head with Apple and other MR headset makers for an upper-end mixed reality market. Vivo also has a big smartphone announcement alongside the headset.

Vivo has confirmed the launch of its next camera-focused flagship, the Vivo X200 Ultra, in April 2025. This should be a major improvement over its predecessor and should incorporate flagship camera tech and hardware. Beyond the flagship Ultra model, Vivo is reportedly preparing to launch several other devices in the same month.

Vivo Vision 3 1 Vivo Unveils Vision MR Headset, X200 Ultra Launch in April

These include the Vivo X200s, the X200 Pro Mini Purple Edition, the Vivo Watch 5, and the Pad 4 Pro. While details about these products remain scarce, their anticipated release signals Vivo’s continued push into various segments, from smartphones to wearables and tablets. With the unveiling of the Vivo Vision headset and the upcoming flagship lineup, Vivo appears to be expanding its presence in both the mixed reality and mobile technology markets.
