OPPO Find X8S Leaks Reveal 6.3-Inch Display, 5,700mAh Battery, Hasselblad Camera, and Wireless Charging Support
According to popular tipster DigitalChatStation on Weibo, key specs of the purported OPPO Find X8S have allegedly surfaced, suggesting there may be a new model in the Find X8 family. The phone will also feature a 6.3-inch display, versus 6.78-inch displays on the Find X8 series, according to the leak. The OPPO flagship was previously expected to be called the Find X8 mini or Find X8 next, but the most recent leak now claims it could see a launch as the OPPO Find X8S instead.
In terms of design, the Find X8S is rumored to come in at less than 8.15mm thick and weigh less than 187g. According to the site, the bezels are under 1.38mm. It could pack a battery over 5,700mAh in size, larger than the Find X8’s 5,630mAh and the Find X8 Pro’s 5,190mAh capacities. It is also set to include a Hasselblad periscope camera, but no sensor details have been announced. Other expected features are wireless charging and an IP rating for water and dust resistance.
Earlier leaks concerning OPPO’s compact 6.3-inch flagship touted a 1.5K LTPO display, a 50MP periscope camera, and a 50MP main sensor. The phone is expected to support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. It may also introduce a new three-stage push button, replacing the traditional alert slider. Another Find X8-series model with a 6.6-inch display is also rumored and could launch as the Find X8 Next or Find X8S Pro.
While details about an India launch remain scarce, reports suggest the OPPO Find X8 Ultra will be exclusive to China. The OPPO Find X8 and Find X8 Pro debuted in India last November at ₹69,999 and ₹99,999, respectively.
