Oppo F29 Pro 5G, Pro+ 5G India Launch Soon, Price Leaked

Oppo is reportedly preparing to launch the Oppo F29 Pro 5G and Oppo F29 Pro+ 5G in India soon. Though the firm has not verified its launch, a tipster has already leaked the core specs and expected release price range of these mid-range smartphones. The specifications of the Oppo F29 Pro 5G were also leaked recently, hinting at a resemblance to the Oppo A5 Pro 5G that was launched in China in December 2024.

The Oppo F29 Pro 5G is said to be priced under ₹25,000 in India (as claimed by tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd). It is expected to launch in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB models. On the other side, Oppo F29 Pro+ 5G is expected to launch under the price segment of ₹30,000 with 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB variants. Both smartphones are likely to hit the retail market in the near future.

The Pro+ model of the Oppo F29 series is expected to come with Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, and it will allegedly have a 6,500mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. The device will also allegedly highlight a curved display and an IP69 rating for mud and water safety. Meanwhile, the Oppo F29 Pro 5G is tipped to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. Previous leaks also suggested the presence of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The device is anticipated to use the ColorOS 15 software layer based on Android 15, and it should feature a 6,000mAh battery, possibly with a charging speed on par with the Pro+ model. In terms of display, the Oppo F29 Pro 5G is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ quad-curved AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may also include an in-display fingerprint sensor. Camera-wise, the handset is tipped to have a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, accompanied by a 2-megapixel secondary sensor on the rear. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera is also expected.
