It will include a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip but will not have as big of a battery as the Galaxy S25+ model that was announced in January.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Tipped to Launch in April May Feature Slim Design and ₹87,150 Price Tag
A popular tipster, Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be priced similarly to the vanilla Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ which were launched alongside the Ultra model. If true, it could be priced at around ₹87,150. As per the leak, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a 6.65-inch display, slightly smaller than the Galaxy S25+’s 6.7-inch panel. However, it is expected to feature thinner bezels, resembling the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The tipster also revealed information on its size and weight. Alleged specs of the next-gen Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, which features a thickness of just 5.84mm, or 1.46mm thinner than the Galaxy S25+. It’ll also get a 162g weight which is a lot more manageable compared to the Plus’ 195g heavy weight. But the reduced thickness and weight will be countered with some trade-offs as the Edge is expected to come with a smaller battery compared to the S25+.
The other major difference is the camera setup. Unlike the Galaxy S25+ which offers a triple-camera system, the Edge variant is expected to settle for just two rear cameras. Despite these changes, it is likely to share many specifications with the S25+, including a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite chip for Galaxy, 12GB of RAM, and One UI 7 based on Android 15. Samsung MX VP of Product and Marketing for the UK, Annika Bizon, recently stated that the slim profile of the Galaxy S25 Edge wouldn’t compromise durability. While further details were not disclosed, reports suggest that Samsung may use a ceramic rear panel instead of glass to enhance its resilience.
