A leak is suggesting, Resident Evil 8 is in development. The leaks are coming in a slow way after the ransomware attack against Capcom.
Several screenshots are now available across multiple forums and social media which hints at an internal development of Resident Evil 8: Village, as they revealed the on-screen development metrics. As you can see the above image, which came out with the metrics cropped out. In a previous leak, the release date in April was assumed.
The eighth entry in the series, Resident Evil Village is the next generation survival horror game. The story of the game begins with Ethan Winters starting a peaceful life with his wife, Mia.
In early November, the ransomware attack was reported and Capcom claimed that time, no customer data was leaked. But later they got to know that a huge number of customer data may have been leaked. You can see those leaked images on this Imgur page, which was previously linked on Reddit.
Those screenshots reveal some character like some kind of bat-winged monster with a human torso, an unknown woman, and a vampire looking lady. Also, a baby is seen in few images which indicate that the child is present for some major reason in the plot.
It is expected that the game will be available in the next year for PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5. The team has previously said that they will try to bring the horror sequel for the current-gen consoles, but it’s not sure.
