Vivo V50 Lite 5G Gains NBTC Certification, Geekbench Listing Reveals Dimensity 6300, 12GB RAM, and Android 15

Like its recently launched counterpart, the Vivo V50 Lite is expected to offer strong photography in a budget package. It will replace last year’s Vivo V40 Lite, which was equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, a 50MP trio of rear cameras, and a 5,500mAh battery. The NBTC listing reveals that the V2440 model will be officially called the Vivo V50 Lite 5G. This is consistent with multiple other certifications such as the Bluetooth SIG and GCF, which also linked the model number to the moniker.

In Singapore, the IMDA and IMEI databases registered it as the Jovi V50 Lite 5G, but it now seems it will actually be using the Vivo V50 Lite 5G branding instead. The device has also appeared in both Indonesia’s SDPPI and SGS listings. Though the listings have not revealed specifications, Geekbench information reveals some about its hardware. It would likely come powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset coupled with 12GB of RAM and Android 15.

It hit 753 points in the single-core Geekbench tests and 1,934 points in multi-core performance. Vivo is also reportedly developing a 4G variant, the Vivo V40 Lite. Recently spotted in the FCC database, this model is expected to feature a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. It is listed with dimensions of 163.96 x 75.3 x 8.49mm and a weight of 193 grams. With multiple certifications in place, the Vivo V50 Lite 5G’s launch appears imminent, reinforcing Vivo’s commitment to expanding its mid-range smartphone lineup.
