Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo V50 in India as the successor to the Vivo V40. Targeting the premium mid-range space, the phone will feature a sleek design, Zeiss cameras, a quad-curved display, and a high-capacity battery.

Ahead of its launch, Vivo has been revealing the phone’s main highlights and specifications. The Vivo V50 launch in India is scheduled for February 17, and it will be available via Amazon, Flipkart, and the Vivo India website. You can start pre-reservations as well and get a one-year extended warranty and one-year screen damage protection (V-shield) plans at discounted prices.

Vivo V50 Set to Launch in India on February 17 with 6,000mAh Battery and Zeiss Cameras

In India, the base variant of the Vivo V50 is anticipated to be priced at ₹37,999, while the higher-end models will fall under ₹50,000. For reference, the Vivo V40 launched at ₹34,999, while the top variant was priced at ₹41,999.

The Vivo V50 will be equipped with a 41-degree quad-curved display, ultra-slim 0.186 cm bezels, and Diamond Shield Glass for protection. The exact screen size is yet to be revealed, but it is expected to feature a high-quality display experience synonymous with Vivo. As for the specs, under the hood, the smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset which is the same as its predecessor.

For the camera, the handset features a triple camera setup at the back, which consists of a 50MP primary sensor with supports OIS and Aura Light, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP camera on the front for selfies. It is driven by a 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging, making it the slimmest phone in its segment with such a big battery.

On the software front, the Vivo V50 will run Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, with AI-driven features such as Circle to Search, AI Transcript, and AI Live Call Translation. The smartphone will come in Titanium Grey, Rose Red, and Starry Blue color options and will also feature an IP68 and IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
