B Praak Slams ‘Ghatiya’ Ranveer Allahbadia, Cancels Podcast Amid Shocking Controversy

B Praak Slams ‘Ghatiya’ Ranveer Allahbadia!

In a dramatic turn of events that has sent shockwaves through the Indian social media landscape, renowned singer B Praak has publicly canceled his appearance on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, citing the YouTuber’s recent controversial comments as the reason. This development comes amidst a growing storm of criticism surrounding Allahbadia, better known by his online moniker ‘BeerBiceps’, following his inappropriate remarks on the show ‘India’s Got Latent’.

The Controversy That Sparked a Firestorm

The saga began when Allahbadia, serving as a guest judge on ‘India’s Got Latent’, posed a shockingly inappropriate question to a contestant. The query, which involved a disturbing scenario about parents and sexual acts, immediately sparked outrage across social media platforms. Despite Allahbadia’s subsequent apology, the controversy has continued to escalate, drawing condemnation from various quarters, including political figures.

B Praak’s Powerful Stand

In a bold move that has garnered widespread attention, B Praak took to Instagram to announce his decision to cancel his scheduled appearance on Allahbadia’s podcast. The singer didn’t mince words in his critique, labeling Allahbadia’s thinking as “pathetic” and strongly condemning the choice of words used on Samay Raina’s show.

In his impassioned video message, B Praak stated in Hindi, “I was supposed to appear on a podcast, on BeerBiceps, and we cancelled that. Why? Since we are all seeing how pathetic his thinking is. The choice of words that he has used on Samay Raina’s show.”

The singer went on to emphasize the disconnect between Allahbadia’s actions and Indian cultural values, questioning, “Ye humara Indian culture nahi hai. Ye humara culture hi nahi hai. Ap apne parents ke kaun si story bata rahe ho? Ap unki kaun si baatein kar rahe ho? Ye comedy hain?” (This is not our Indian culture. What story are you telling about your parents? What are you even talking about them? Is this comedy?)

The Hypocrisy Unveiled

B Praak’s criticism didn’t stop at the offensive comments. He also called out what he perceived as hypocrisy in Allahbadia’s public persona. The singer pointed out the stark contrast between Allahbadia’s promotion of Sanatan Dharma and spirituality on his podcast, where he hosts renowned personalities and spiritual leaders, and the “shoddy” thinking displayed in his recent controversy.

“Aur yeh Ranveer Allahbadia, aap Sanatan Dharma ko promote karte ho, spirituality ki baat karte ho. Aapke podcast pe itne bade-bade log aate hain, itne bade sant aate hain, aur fir bhi aapki soch itni ghatiya hai?” (You promote Sanatan Dharma and host so many influential people, still your thinking is so shoddy?), B Praak questioned, highlighting the apparent contradiction.

Tanmay Bhat’s Viral Clip: A Past That Haunts

Adding fuel to the fire, an old video featuring comedian Tanmay Bhat has resurfaced, going viral amidst the ongoing controversy. In this clip, Bhat is seen challenging Allahbadia’s claims of spiritual detachment, labeling him a “views-obsessed capitalist.”

The video captures a conversation where Allahbadia jokingly suggests “shaving head and eyebrows,” hinting at spiritual renunciation. Bhat’s response is scathing: “Why do you keep saying this bt? Just accept it, you are a capitalistic M** who wants views. This spiritualism and all is b******t.”

Bhat goes on to point out Allahbadia’s frequent business launches, contrasting them with his spiritual Instagram posts. “Itna jhootha aadmi hai bhai ye baap re (He is such a big liar). Why are you lying?” Bhat questions, exposing what he sees as the inconsistency in Allahbadia’s public image and actions.

The Wider Implications

This controversy has sparked a broader conversation about responsibility in content creation, the impact of social media influencers on youth, and the fine line between comedy and offensive content. With political figures like Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis vowing to take action, the incident has transcended the realm of social media drama and entered the arena of public policy and cultural debate.

As the situation continues to unfold, it serves as a stark reminder of the power and responsibility that come with a large online platform. The incident has not only tarnished Allahbadia’s reputation but has also led to serious discussions about the need for greater accountability in the digital content creation space.
