Last year Apple has launched its iPhone 11 series and after one year, the company is giving a free screen replacement offer to the iPhone 11 users. So, people who have iPhone 11s and are facing touchscreen related issues can now grab the offer to get a free screen replacement from Apple. Apple has also put up a support page on its website for its iPhone 11 users to find out if they are eligible for a replacement. But it is not for each and every model of iPhone 11. It is only for those iPhone 11 modules that were manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020. So, let’s check out what is the process to find out if you are eligible for the screen replacement or not.
To find out your eligibility, you have to find the serial number of your device. For this, you have to go to settings, then General, and then About (Settings > General > About). If your serial number lies between the valid manufactured date, you are eligible to replace your damaged screen. If you are eligible, either you have to find an Apple Authorized Service Provider, or you have to contact Apple for a mail-in service via the Apple Repair Center. After that, Apple will take care of your device.
Before sending your iPhone for repair, Apple suggests that you should back up your each and every date for safety purposes. As per the cracked displays, users have to get that repair first. After that, the touchscreen issue will get fixed. For information, this touchscreen repairing program will not extend the standard warranty coverage of the iPhone 11.
