According to Sacnilk, the film’s advance bookings have already surpassed ₹13.87 crore in India, with over 4 lakh tickets sold.

As per reports, Game Changer Advance Booking has generated ₹13.87 crore so far for 10,858 shows across the country. Andhra Pradesh leads with ₹7.52 crore, followed by Telangana with ₹3.3 crore. Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala contributed ₹59.01 lakh, ₹1.06 crore, and ₹2.6 lakh, respectively.
For comparison, Shankar’s previous project Indian 2 garnered ₹10.98 crore in advance bookings, while Ram Charan’s earlier release with Chiranjeevi, Acharya, achieved ₹15.75 crore gross.
Ticket Hikes and Early Shows Approved
Game Changer has been granted permission for ticket price hikes and early screenings, with shows starting at 1 AM in Andhra Pradesh and 4 AM in Telangana. The film’s theatrical business is valued at ₹122 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, including ₹43 crore in the Nizam region. To break even, the film will need to gross ₹225 crore in these states.
Other key regions have set high expectations, with the film valued at ₹14 crore in Karnataka, ₹15 crore in Tamil Nadu, and ₹2 crore in Kerala. In the Hindi-speaking belt, the film is valued at ₹42 crore, while overseas markets contribute ₹25 crore to the stakes. To be deemed a box office hit, Game Changer will need to cross ₹425 crore gross globally.
Ram Charan’s Solo Film Comeback
This marks Ram Charan’s first solo release since Vinaya Vidheya Rama in 2019, which also featured Kiara Advani. While that film underperformed at the box office, Charan’s previous hit, Rangasthalam (2018), directed by Sukumar, earned ₹220 crore worldwide and remains his highest solo grosser to date.
Following the massive global success of SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which grossed over ₹1230 crore worldwide, Game Changer carries immense expectations, positioning itself as a major contender in the 2025 Sankranthi race.
