OnePlus Ace 5V with MediaTek Dimensity 9350 and 7,000mAh Battery Set to Launch Soon
The Ace 5V will reportedly be fitted with MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9350 SoC. According to a prominent leaker on Weibo, Digital Chat Station, this chipset is an enhanced iteration of the Dimensity 9300, referred to as “Dimensity 9300++.” It’s projected to offer slight performance gains and enhanced power efficiency over its predecessor. The chip will approach directly against the Snapdragon 8s of Qualcomm Elite, the successor to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and superior to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Besides the chipset, the Ace 5V will also come with a “1.5K” flat screen followed by slim bezels for an immersive visual experience. A major highlight of it is this enormous 7,000mAh battery, that’s a big step up from the Ace 5’s 6,400mAh battery. The Ace 3V, which the new device replaces, offered a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 under the hood and a dual rear camera setup with 50MP primary and 8MP secondary lenses.
Although camera details for the Ace 5V are not yet confirmed, it is expected to either maintain or enhance this configuration. Interestingly, the Ace 3V was rebranded as the Nord 4 for global markets, hinting that the Ace 5V could follow suit and be launched internationally as the OnePlus Nord 5 with slight modifications. OnePlus has yet to announce an official launch date, but the Ace 5V is expected to debut soon.
