OPPO seems to be gearing up for the launch of a new smartphone, shortly after the release of the OPPO Find X8 series and Reno 13 models in China and India last month. A new unknown OPPO smartphone has surfaced on MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) and CMIIT certification websites with some important features and specifications.

OPPO’s New Phone Surfaces on MIIT and CMIIT Certifications, Launch Likely Soon
With MIIT listing OPPO as the applicant for the device, the device is listed with the model number ‘PKV110’. The listing reveals that the phone will feature support for wide network connectivity successor for NR (New Radio), SA (Standalone), TD-LTE, LTE FDD, and dual SIM. This implies that this device will be a 5G phone and will support global users on next-gen networks.
The development of OPPO PKV110 was also confirmed with the certification of this device on CMIIT. The listing also mentions that the phone will ship with the Android 15 OS so, you’re getting fresh smooth updated software in the box. The device is also said to feature a large-rated 5,640mAh battery for long-lasting performance. Additionally, the device will be equipped with GPS, AGPS, and GLONASS, further enhancing the device’s location services.
Although the marketing name for this device is not yet known, the fact that its listings have already begun to appear online may mean that the release is very close. The emphasis on the importance of high-end connectivity, a sizeable battery, and the newest Android OS suggests that OPPO has a premium offering prepared for its consumers.
Besides the upcoming smartphone, OPPO is also preparing a new smartwatch as well. On MIIT it has been sighted with the model number OWW251, which could be a rebadged OnePlus Watch 3, as the model number is very similar to OPWWE251. The smartwatch is probably going to have LTE connectivity, eSIM support, and a Snapdragon Wear W5 Gen 2 chipset, which should make it a compelling accessory to pair with the brand’s smartphones. The smartwatch should launch alongside the OnePlus 13 flagship in January and is expected to come with a 631mAh rated battery, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity options.
