Xiaomi has posted a teaser confirming the release date of the Redmi Note 14 Pro and it is just around the corner. The series will consist of two models – the Redmi Note 14 Pro and the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ As per the source, both phones will come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection and IP69 certification for ruggedness. Apart from phones, Xiaomi will also announce the Redmi Buds 6 wireless earbuds on October 28.
The Upcoming Redmi Note 14 Pro Series
Redmi Note 14 Pro series will be launched on September 26 at 7:00 PM (4:30 PM IST) in China. Although Xiaomi has held back most of the specifications, it has officially confirmed key features like Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and water resistance. The phones are said to be IP66, IP68, and IP69 certified for water resistance post the tough tests conducted on them bringing improved Water Ingress Protection. This improvement builds on last year’s Redmi Note 13 Pro+ with its IP68 rating and the Redmi Note 13 Pro, which had an IP54 rating.
All models are expected to feature improved durability and longer battery life. Xiaomi announced renders of the Redmi Note 14 Pro series on Weibo and the official colors like Mirror Porcelain White, Phantom Blue, and Twilight Purple. It features a curved display with a hole-punch cutout in the front and an ellipse-shaped camera module that carries three lenses and an LED flash.
The Redmi Buds 6, launching alongside the phones, promises an impressive 49dB noise reduction and up to 42 hours of total battery life, offering a premium audio experience. Although full specifications are yet to be disclosed, the Redmi Note 14 Pro is expected to run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. It could also include a 50MP primary camera, support for 90W fast charging, and a 1.5K resolution display, adding to its flagship features.
