Anthony Martial could be signing for Brazilian club Flamengo as the replacement for Pedro, who recently got injured. The former Manchester United striker has been without a club since leaving the Premier League club upon the expiry of his contract at the end of 23-24.
While there is currently no agreement in place, Martial could make the move as a free agent. He hasn’t had much interest from Europe, where the transfer market is currently shut. However, free agents can still sign for clubs in the top leagues.

Pedro injured his ACL while on national team duty with Brazil, and will play no further part in Flamego’s season in 2024. As a result, the club needs a backup striker to replace the 27-year-old. And Martial, 28, could be a suitable option.
Martial struggled to fulfill his potential while at Old Trafford, scoring 90 goals in 317 games for the Red Devils. Injuries hampered his progress and kept him out of the team for long spells, further complicating things for him.
It will be interesting to see how he adapts to life in Brazil and whether he can reach his full potential.
